Inside the Iggles: Philadelphia Eagles News, Rumors and Links for 6/21

All is quiet on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ front for now.

The growing intrigue in the Aaron Hernandez fiasco seems to be the talk of the town. Speaking of tight ends, Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro had an interesting take on the Eagles tight end situation on PhiladelphiaEagles.com.

Apparently Chip Kelly seems to favor the idea of utilizing his new weapons. When asked about the plethora of talent at the tight end position, Kelly had this to say.

Pick your poison.

Simple, yet very telling.

During an interview with Chris McPherson, Eagles nine-year veteran Trent Cole had some significant words when referring to his play of late (via PhiladelphiaEagles.com).

I want to show everyone that I can play d-end and outside linebacker. I can play both positions and be great at it.

I want to be very successful at this game. I have a lot of goals in mind.

Clearly Cole thinks he has much more to prove. That should be a good sign going forward for the Eagles defense.
