It’s Friday, and the Philadelphia Eagles news is continuing to surface at a snail’s pace. However, we were able to round up some of the more interesting topics and comments about the team from earlier this week.

Let’s start with the Philadelphia Magazine. They did a fantastic job compiling all of the most interesting media quotes on the Eagles — including this.

All anyone wants to talk about is quarterback. What about that defense? Let’s see, there’s a new coordinator (Billy Davis), a new scheme (3-4), a new nose tackle ( Isaac Sopoaga), a new OLB/pass rusher ( Connor Barwin) and a whole new secondary.

Now, we can take a bit of a trip back in time to 2004, where ESPN wrote that the 2004 Eagles were one of the most compelling teams. We don’t really have to remind you that 2004 was the year of Terrell Owens.

Here is a really nice piece by the Washington Post. It breaks down the Eagles’ offseason and describes what all of these moves mean to the division rival Redskins. It is most definitely worth a read.

This may be a rather biased post from the fan-friendly Rant Sports; however, it does mention that Chip Kelly will bring a title to Philadelphia.
