Inside The Iggles: Philadelphia Eagles News, Rumors and Links for 7/23

Philadelphia Eagles training camp is now finally underway. Instead of the constant speculation about how the team will look under Chip Kelly this season, we can finally see it first hand. Thus far, only rookies have reported to camp to get an early start on things; however, there is still a great deal of news that has surfaced after only one day. Here are some very interesting pieces from around the web that give some great insight to how the Eagles’ rookies are handling the spotlight after one day of camp.

Rookie Matt Barkley has made it known that he should not be counted out of the Eagles race for the starting quarterback position. According to ESPN.com, Barkley thinks that he has just as good of a shot as Michael Vick and Nick Foles.

In what seems to be a very familiar statement from all Eagles quarterbacks, Foles has announced his confidence in his chances to win the starting job at the quarterback position according to NFL.com.

Fox News has a story about what it feels like to kick off Eagles’ training camp at a different location with a different head coach and ultimately, a different team.
