Michael Vick Named Eagles Starting QB

According to reports out of Eagles camp, Chip Kelly has named Michael Vick the starting QB for the week 1 match against the Redskins. Kelly and his staff has  time to evaluate the tape and come to the conclusion most of us had after the first two weeks of preseason – Foles looked good but Vick simply looked great. This will basically put an end to splitting reps in the preseason so Vick can focus on getting ready for the Redskins.

The most important issues will be whether or not Vick can stay healthy and limit the turnovers. If not, the Eagles at least have a capable back up QB in Nick Foles.
