The Philadelphia Eagles signed Special Teams veteran Brad Smith today. Having a designated return man will be a welcome sight for the Eagles’ faithful. Each time Jackson returned a punt you could almost hear the stadium hold its breath. Praying he doesn’t get hurt in the process. The Eagles are making a run for the playoffs and they need all hands on deck for the final push.

Brad Smith is not only a welcome return man he will free up DeSean Jackson to focus on catching bombs. Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach Chip Kelly likes to keep his options open. Perhaps we will see a preview of the Smith-Wildcat formation this weekend against the Washington Redskins?
