At the time of his firing last year Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, in some ways it looked like the right thing to do. The Philadelphia Eagles had one of their worst seasons in franchise history. This after 14 years of leadership by Andy Reid. Some thought it wasn’t time. That it was just a case of a bad year and he deserved another year to see if he could improve on the current season. (Almost anyone could have because a 4-12 season is pretty close to the bottom of the barrel.)

Andy Reid is now enjoying an outstanding season with the Chiefs. Sure they lost last to the Denver Broncos last night but 9-1 isn’t anything to scoff at. Andy Reid just increased the Chiefs’ record by 400% in just 10 games. They didn’t pick up anyone of significance except their starting Quarterback Alex Smith. He is enjoying moderate success this year. 11 TDs with 4 interceptions ten games into the season is average or less.
