The regular season is winding down and this year is shaping up to be a thriller. With two weeks left in the season only one team has clinched their division. This weekend could be one of the best weeks in this year. Many teams are playing to survive or win their division. The Philadelphia Eagles could clinch the NFC East with a win Sunday night and a Dallas Cowboys loss.

This week we had five questions for Mike Praser with Bear Goggles On. We wanted to get their perspective on the game. As you can guess, he was a bit one-sided and not very objective in his answers. But he couldn’t call himself a fan otherwise so we’ll give him a little slack.

1) Do you think the fans are fully behind Quarterback Jay Cutler and Marc Trestman or do they want Josh McCown?

I am fully behind Jay Cutler and Marc Trestman, but I would say that 50% of the fans here in Chicago want Josh McCown. The numbers don’t lie, McCown’s statistics were great when he was under center. But, there were instances when he didn’t play as well in the red zone and sometimes didn’t take any chances to gain a 1st down or move the ball. Some people think that is a great thing. I personally think if you don’t take chances, you don’t win. If the Bears defense was better, then McCown would be the perfect quarterback. What a delema we have in Chicago. I think people forget that during the last two seasons, when Cutler went down, our quarterbacks have sucked. Let’s just be happy that we have a controversy and not a losing record.

2) Do you think Marc Trestman will rest his starters given the right set of circumstances Sunday?

I think that Marc Trestman would absolutely rest his starts given the right set of circumstances. Nobody is healthy this time of season and if he is able to rest anyone, he will.
