With two weeks to go it is getting down to the wire for the Philadelphia Eagles. The key player that could be a difference maker for the Eagles this weekend is Philadelphia Eagles safety Earl Wolff and his knee. Last weeks game against the Minnesota Vikings exposed some glaring holes in the Birds’ secondary. Prior to his injury, Wolff had made a name for himself in the Eagles’ secondary. He is probably for Sunday’s game and we can hope he plays. He will be needed against the likes of the Chicago Bears wide receivers Brandon Marshal and Alshon Jeffery.
Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs is probable for today’s game. If he plays it will be a much needed addition to the Bears’ porous run defense. Currently, the Bears allow an average of 151 yards per game on the ground which is worst in the NFL. That would make for a terrible day for the Bears if Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy brings his “A” game. Though Brandon Marshall is probable for today’s game it is highly unlikely he will sit out today unless Chicago Bears head coach sees this game is unnecessary because of the outcome of the games from earlier in the day.
