I am not too surprised many of the Philadelphia Eagles’ players were not selected to the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl. The Eagles play more as a unit than a few stand out individuals making great plays. Three wide receivers have great numbers but none have as many touchdowns as the lowest selected pro bowler. The two selected to the 2014 Pro Bowl, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and Tackle Jason Peters were no brainers. But one player was snubbed and it was shock to me and probably many other fans and players.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles’ snub was a surprise. A shock actually. How could the accomplishments of Foles be overlooked? This season he has thrown 25 touchdowns with two interceptions. His quarterback rating is a league leading 118.8. If you are curious that is 5.8 points higher than Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Foles has led the Eagles from last in the NFC East last season to one game away from the NFC East Division Title this season. Not sure how he could have been overlooked but I guess that is the way the ball bounces.
The good thing is it doesn’t look like Foles is going anywhere. So maybe next year he will be noticed. He’s already noticed by those who matter, the Philadelphia Eagles Faithful Fans.
