Two thoughts here. One, the Saints haven’t played well in inclement weather so they may have difficulty playing saturday night giving the edge to the Eagles. Two, If I were a betting man, I would bet New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Peyton and quarterback Drew Brees are tired of hearing that. These two are a dangerous combination and you can be sure they are working hard to remedy their deficiencies in this area. So expect the Saints to come out ready to fight.
Here is my take…
I believe it will be a tough battle for the Eagles. At this point I am giving them a 50/50 chance of winning. With New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan calling the plays on defense you can bet the Eagles offense will have their hands full. The Saints are ranked fourth in points allowed per game and yards allowed per game. If any team can put points on the board against them it would be the Eagles. They have a very potent offense. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has the highest passer rating in the league this season at 119.2. This is the third highest in the history of the NFL. Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy rushed for over 1,600 yards this season and won the NFL rushing title. I truly cannot predict who will win. My heart says the Eagles will prevail but my head isn’t so convinced. Brees is a great quarterback and he has many weapons. Either way, the game should be exciting. Who do you really think will win this Saturday?
