Dec 29, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Philadelphia Eagles corner back Brandon Boykin (22) celebrates with running back LeSean McCoy (25) after the game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT

Being drafted 123rd can be a disappointment to some. With Boykin’s injury and small stature as the NFL sees it, 5′ 10″, 185 pounds, many overlooked him. Being overlooked has been a great source of motivation for him. Boykin seems to be getting better with age. His ability to make plays on the ball is improving with each snap. He is one of the main reasons now that the projected first round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles has turned away from a corner back. He is coming into his own and just at the right time. Be sure to keep an eye on number 22 as the Eagles face off against the New Orleans Saints this weekend.
