It’s game day! Wild Card Weekend! In what some call one of the highest of improbabilities the Philadelphia Eagles are in the playoffs and face off against the New Orleans Saints this tonight. The Eagles have over achieved this year but I don’t think they are finished. Today’s injury report comes from PhiladelphiaEagles.com
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant will more than likely play tonight. He is the number three wide receiver but he gets a fair amount of targets. Philadelphia Eagles safety Brandon Boykin also listed as probable will most definitely play tonight. With Boykin playing the way he is it will be hard to keep him off the field. Plus, he has become a huge thorn in opposing offenses sides lately. Don’t expect Philadelphia Eagles safety Earl Wolff on the field tonight. He is listed as questionable but after tweaking his injured knee two weeks ago I doubt he will take any chances tonight. He has too many years of football left to risk it tonight.
New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas is out for tonight’s game. He hasn’t been a huge producer and not been a big threat this season. Doesn’t look like much will be missed in the running back position tonight for the Saints. New Orleans Saints safety is Rafael Bush is listed as probable but will more than likely take the field tonight.
