Here is my take…

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper had a breakout year this season. With 47 receptions for 835 yards and 8 touchdowns he has more then doubled last year’s numbers. Of course part of that is because Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has been out all season so he’s been targeted more. But he has stepped up and produced. He had a couple of missed receptions, the glaring one was during the contest with the New Orleans Saints. There was a lot of grass between him and the end-zone and I think he got a little excited of possibly scoring a touchdown. Maybe it was the big stage jitters that hit him. Who knows but everyone makes mistakes. I think the Eagles should keep him simply because his is tall at 6’3″ and weighs 222 pounds. He’s big and physical. He is not afraid to take or deliver a hit. He can give you a few extra yards after the catch. And for a big guy he can take flight. He has gone vertical on several occasions and come down the ball using only one hand. I don’t think he will be too expensive to keep and I do believe he will be vital for a Super Bowl run next year.
