Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has yet to select a former player of his from the Oregon Ducks in the NFL Draft, and I believe that will change this offseason. Kelly clearly is not opposed to bringing in players he has a history with from his days as Oregon’s head coach (retaining linebacker Casey Matthews, signing safety Patrick Chung to a free agent contract last year, acquiring wide receiver Josh Maehl by trade, nearly drafting linebacker Dion Jordan before the Miami Dolphins traded up to get him first, and the rumored interest in 2014 free agent safeties Jairus Byrd and T.J. Ward are some examples), and there are three players I believe have the most potential to break the Duck-less draft trend as we get closer to the biggest event of the offseason.
