The Philadelphia Eagles are currently playing musical chairs by adding, moving, and changing some seats. This addition is in part of working on the rest of their two-year revitalization to the Lincoln Financial Field for the upcoming 2014 season. Due to the good season the Eagles recently had, I’m quite sure the Eagles are expecting to see the ticket sales soar to fulfill these seats. After the second year revitalization is complete 1600 seats will be added for more fans to enjoy the game. Many of these new seats will be added to the Northeast and Southwest sections to fulfill the connection between the upper concourse. If you’ve ever been to the Linc’, then you know this connection is definitely needed and highly anticipated. Trying to get to your seat, if it’s on the upper level, can be confusing. But the 1600 will be spread amongst every section. Philadelphia Eagles president, Don Smolenski, stated that many season ticket holders requested seat licenses and changes in their seats. By adding extra seats this can help them in fulfilling their request.
Other changes that are being added, are new HD video boards, LED ribbon boards to the stadium, and increased prices for this year tickets. It was mentioned that the Eagles have revised their ticket prices for sections. Their reasoning is to properly price the seating on its value and popularity. Meaning they see where you like to sit and they want to cash in on it. But it must be noted that some prices have decreased for us budget-watching folks.
