Last week Missouri Tigers defensive lineman Michael Sam announced to the world he was gay. He set off a whirlwind of speculation that will eventually die down. We don’t want to stir up a hornet’s but we wanted to get your thoughts on the issue. It is year 2014 and for some reason our society cannot seem to find a way to move into the 21st century. The fact that an NFL player admitting he is gay is headline news tells us society has a hard time accepting some people for they are.
