Where Will The Eagles Next Big Play-Maker Come From?

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was a third round draft pick in 2012. After this past season one could wonder how he made it that far. Or you could wonder what former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid saw in him. Regardless, a diamond in the rough was discovered. If he continues to improve in his career who knows how many rings he might have.

That said, sometimes it is a roll of the dice in the draft. A few names come to mind. Former San Diego Chargers quarterback Ryan Leaf comes to mind. Or a recent pick by the Saint Louis Rams when they chose Sam Bradford. That has been one expensive and possibly forgettable pick for the franchise. On the flip side you could look at the signing of former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Vince Young. He was a train wreck from the beginning and left the Titans in controversy. He did not work out with the Eagles and has not played a snap since. So as free agency and the 2014 NFL Draft approaches we at Inside the Iggles wanted to see where you thought the Eagles’ next big difference-maker would come from. The draft or free agency.

Here is today’s poll question:

Where will the Eagles next big play-maker come from?

How about a big playmaker on DEFENSE ?

“Bring in veteran qb VINCE YOUNG”… Vince is mobile– with talent and playoff experience…. He is hungry, motivated and his 31 and 19 record shows he can play this game at a high level as a starter or a good backup…. He is a LOW risk-HIGH reward quarterback… and a wise choice for any GM/Head Coach looking to upgrade their quarterback pool….

Vince is terrible I don’t know if you remember but when he was here last time he was awful. Why would you ever think he could possibly be a playmaker. You need a guy who can read defenses he can’t. If you’re thinking mobility he’s old and can’t run like he used to 31 is not young just look at how many running backs are over 30 and still effective. I mean that just doesn’t make sense. What are you thinking.
