With last season a distant memory the Philadelphia Eagles look to fill in some gaps to bolster the team for next year. For their main needs the field looks ripe with prospects. But there is always the slight possibility the off-season ends in a bust. Very slight.

So if the Birds get nothing from free agency and the draft can they make it to the Super Bowl? If safety Earl Wolfe remains healthy and linebacker Trent Cole can have another stellar season and middle linebacker Demeco Ryans steps up again it is possible the Eagles get there. But it would be a stretch.

What do you think?

Here is today’s poll question.

Why post an article asking if the Philadelphia Eagles would be able to go to the Super Bowl with the same team as last year when obviously it’s going to be vastly different. How about factoring in Chip Kelly’s second season as a coach? Foles’ second season under his wing? The offense’s second chance under one of the best systems in the NFL? The defense’s adjustments and missing gaps under Billy Davis? Yes, let’s completely disregard all that and assume that they’re going to pick up anyone in free agency and the team will be the exact same. Could they do it? Obviously, anything can happen it’s the NFL. Thank you for making this a poll
