Since All-Pro safety Brian Dawkins left the Philadelphia Eagles following the 2008 season, the Eagles’ safety position has become the laughingstock of the NFL. Whether it was Patrick Chung missing a key tackle, Nate Allen not sticking with a receiver down the field, or Kurt Coleman missing an assignment, it is evident that the Eagles need to heavily invest in the safety position this offseason.
