Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

To many analysts and fans, Alabama’s Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is viewed as the top safety in the 2014 NFL draft. However, Pryor’s recent surge in the NFL Draft has narrowed the gap between the two as of late.

Although project a top-15 overall pick, there is a chance that Clinton-Dix is not the first safety off the draft board. Listed at at 6’1” and 208 pounds, Clinton-Dix is a big player who could add to the Eagles’ safety position. Last season, Clinton-Dix registered 51 tackles, two interceptions and four passes defensed. He speed and covering abilities make him an excellent fit for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Although Clinton-Dix’s stats may not blow anyone away, it is important to realize that Clinton-Dix’s raw talent and high ceiling is the foundation for a future star in the National Football League. Free agent signing or not, the Eagles should select Clinton-Dix if he is available or maybe in trade up a few spots to sign the talented Alabama safety.
