Eagles Nick Foles The Next Tom Brady?

Last season Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles put the NFL on notice. His stats speak for themselves but is it too early to make a comparison between Foles and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Here are a few key stats to look at while making this comparison.

Passer Rating

It’s hard to extrapolate one season and compare Foles to Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady. But sometimes numbers don’t lie. The one big number that stands out is the passer rating. 86.5 isn’t a terrible number. In the 14 years Tom Brady has been in the NFL he’s only had three season of passer ratings in the 100′s. And it wasn’t until 2007 that Brady had a passer rating above 100. This argument may be perceived as premature but those numbers are hard to ignore.

Watch the tape on Nick Foles. The guy is smart. He thinks clearly when under pressure. How else can you explain 119.2 passer rating with only two interceptions in 13 games.

Here is today’s poll question:

Could Nick Foles become the next Tom Brady?

He def can. Threw more TD’s than Brady this year in less games and in hundreds less pass attempts.

I believe over 300 less attempts.
