With the discussion making the extra point in the NFL 42 yards away, the kicker has become more important then ever. The automatic extra point in the NFL that had well over a 99% conversion rate last season is set to become a lot more difficult for many teams. With Philadelphia Eagles Kicker Alex Henery coming off his lowest percentage of field goals made this season (82.1%), it is important for the Eagles to seek other options in the NFL Draft. When attempting field goals from 40-49 yards away, Henery has made only 7 out of 10 attempts last season. Simply put, Alex Henery is not the kicker this franchise needs.
