The Eagles jumped out early this morning and signed free agent safety and special teams hitman Chris Maragos to a three year deal worth $4 million, ($1 Million guaranteed), and could escalate to $5.3 Million with bonuses, per Aaron Wilson:
Chris Maragos' three-year Eagles deal base value of $4 million, $1 million guaranteed; max value $5.3 million w/ playtime Pro Bowl escalator

Maragos, a recent Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks earlier this year ended up wherever the ball was. His stats on paper don’t reflect the impact he has on the field. His expertise on the field will certainly fill some gaps in the Eagles secondary.
Then out of the blue the Eagles signed free agent linebacker Bryan Braman to a two-year deal worth $3.15 million, $1 million guaranteed. I did not see that coming. Braman is an animal on the field and has made a name for himself in three short years with the Houston Texans. I cannot wait to see him in midnight green. In case you did not know this, in the last game of the regular season in 2009, his rookie season, he tackled the Tennessee Titans punt returner head-to-head with out a helmet. Watch the video, he comes out of nowhere. The Eagles need that kind of intensity on the field. Here is the video of that tackle.
Of course there were rumors about free agent, recently released cornerback Darrelle Revis and the Eagles interest in him. But it was just that, rumors. According to some reports he signed a one year deal with the New England Patriots. So, we move on. Tomorrow is another day!
