Round 1, No. 22

Calvin Pryor, Safety, Louisville

This has become perhaps the most popular first round pick for the Eagles this year and not without good cause.  The Eagles, despite having safeties Earl Wolff and Keelan Johnson, re-signing safety Nate Allen, and signing former New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins, need a quality safety who can come in and immediately start.  Pryor is a tough safety known for being a hard hitter and having good coverage ability.  Many people think he could be picked up prior to the Eagles’ pick at No. 22, but if he’s available, drafting him would be a no-brainer.

Alternatives: Dee Ford, DE, Auburn or Ra’Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota

I would bet we pick a corner at some point in the draft. I doubt we are picking another tight end but who knows.

This is a crazy wr draft so i would be surprised if we dont grab one. Rbs are a dime a dozen now a days so i dont see that happening or a te. Besides a wr that we dont really need but with all the talent we can get a steal we need all defense

Martavis Bryant… I want him on the eagles so bad. 6’5″ and runs an official 4.42. He could replace Jackson, flashes playmaking intangibles and shows he can get YAC… He has a second gear he kicks into and burns DB’s like Jackson but is a half foot taller. Being across from Watkins you can see how he’s easily underrated and undercut in production. Watkins is crazy good…
