Two weeks after Philadelphia Eagles former wide receiver DeSean Jackson was released the shock has worn off and the fans are starting to move on. Jackson is getting settled in his new home, with a new number of course and life goes on. I thought it would be interesting to see how the Washington Redskins fans received their new addition. Maurice Barksdale, editor over at Riggo’s Rag was kind enough to share some thoughts on their new addition.

1.) What was Redskins Nation’s first reaction to landing DeSean Jackson?

Most Redskins fans were excited about landing DeSean Jackson.  Especially since he has consistently killed the Redskins defense over the years.  By the Redskins getting a player like that reverses a lot of the negative feelings Redskins fans have about him, because now instead of helping the Eagles beat the Skins, he can now help the Redskins beat other teams.  It’s been a while since the Redskins have had a game changing player like that on their offense, so there was definitely a huge feeling of excitement throughout the fan base when Jackson was signed.
