Philadelphia Eagles Return To The Nest: Offseason Conditioning Begins

Philadelphia Eagles’ offseason conditioning starts today. The 2014/2015 season has officially begun.

The wait and agonizing slow winter is finally over. Today begins the Eagles’ offseason workouts. Sadly, practices don’t begin until after the draft. Which is less than three weeks away thankfully. But the Birds begin their voluntary offseason conditioning this week. This is vital for the Eagles as they have an up-tempo offense. The Defense is aggressive and they need all the conditioning possible.

If you can remember all the way back to the Eagles’ season you saw an offense that moved up the field at a mind-boggling pace. They either marched up the field for a quick score or were three and out fast. With all the movement going on for the offense they had to be in shape. Which means the Eagles’ defense has to be ready to hit the field quickly. Unlike some defenses, the Eagles are constantly giving different looks and rotating players. Their conditioning is vital for the Eagles to contend this season.

Last season Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly introduced the players to Sports Science. This seemed to help the Eagles run at a constant up-tempo pace and stay healthy last season. They suffered few injuries to their line up. Kelly knows what he is doing and look for the continued success with him at the helm.

So begins the Eagles 2014/2015 season.
