After 2012’s disappointing season and the dismissal of former head coach Andy Reid, the Philadelphia Eagles brought many changes to both the staff and the roster. Once Chip Kelly was anointed the head coach by the Eagles, questions arose whether the Eagles would be keeping their 4-3 defense that they’ve had for so many years, or switch to Kelly’s 3-4 that he ran in Oregon. Kelly began assembling his coaching staff and the answer soon presented itself that Philadelphia would be employing a 3-4 defense for the 2013 season. The question then became, how many players would be able to make the transition?
