Philadelphia Eagles Getting Some Prime-Time Respect

The Philadelphia Eagles have gotten some prime-time respect after last season’s run to the playoffs. The 2012 season was abysmal at best but to have quarterback issues at the beginning of the season, a new coach to boot and yet they surged to the playoffs last season.

The NFL released the 2014 schedule yesterday and there were a few surprises for the Eagles. They have four prime-time games this season. You read that correctly, four prime-times games! And more games could be flexed to prime-time based on their performance and the NFL’s Flexible Scheduling Rules.

And the icing on the cake for this year’s schedule is the Eagles travel to Dallas for a Thanksgiving Day Game at 4:30 PM. As a football fan and an Eagles fan what better early Christmas present can we have than the Eagles beating the Cowboys on their home field after a big Thanksgiving feast?
