And the most important example is the Eagles season last year. With a mind-blowing, fast-paced offense led by quarterback Michael Vick the Eagles blasted into the season opener with a win against the Washington Redskins. Then lost the next three with Vick turning the ball over five times! Vick led the Eagles down a dark path. A few games later Foles started against the Oakland Raiders and tied an NFL record with seven touchdowns. The Eagles went seven and one with Foles at the helm and won the NFC East. In those eight games he turned the ball over twice. (Once was in four feet of snow… Ok, not quite four feet but you get the picture.)

Not to take anything away from McCoy, he is an amazing running back with many good years left. But without Foles the Eagles would not have won the NFC East last season. They would not have such a bright future ahead of them.
