Last season Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was nothing short of amazing. His rise to stardom was unconventional but not particularly new. His performance prior to last season was lackluster at best. But given his opportunity to shine he rose to the occasion. He turnover ratio was better than New England Patriots Tom Brady‘s in his first season under center.
More than a few analysts believe this season will be Foles’ sophomore slump year. Teams have film on him and they believe they can combat his style of play. I disagree with them. In many plays he showed a propensity to protect the ball. His 27 touchdowns and 2 interceptions prove that. That was not luck, it was skill. I think he will continue to amaze this season as he did last. What do you think?
