Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is 1,066 yards away from breaking the team’s all-time rushing record of 6,538 set by Wilbert Montgomery in 1984. Barring a career-ending injury he will set a new one easily. The question is when.
With the addition of Eagles running back Darren Sproles during free agency this season some feel McCoy may not get as many opportunities to run the ball. He’s averaged 1,094 yards in the five years he’s been in the league. And he is in the prime of his football career so it’s a very real possibility he could do it this season.
If he doesn’t break it this season he will surely do it in 2015. What do you think? Will he break the record this season?
