Will Eagles LeSean McCoy Get Less Touches This Season?

Yesterday a poll was submitted asking if you believed Eagles running back LeSean McCoy would break the team’s rushing record this season or in a future season. 93% of you believed he would break it this season. He only needs 1,066 yards to break former Eagles great Wilbert Montgomery record. He’s averaged 1,094 yards a season.

The caveat is new Eagles running back Darren Sproles. It isn’t clear what his role will be but it stands to reason he will take some of the touches from McCoy. But how much? And if he does get less touches one would think he would still produce yardage from the line of scrimmage. His competitive nature will most likely push him even harder this year with the record so close at hand.
