Eagles Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy Nominated for ESPYs


Don’t forget that quarterback Nick Foles and running back LeSean McCoy have been nominated for the prestigious ESPY awards. The results are determined solely by fan votes so don’t forget to vote!

We, the fans, would like nothing more than to see these two men achieve these awards. You only get one vote per category so go vote for our guys. Cast your ballot here. These men have some stiff competition and they need your vote! Voting ends July 16th, 2014 at 9 PM.

Foles is nominated for the Best Breakthrough Athlete award. After taking over for injured New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick midway through last season and led the Eagles to eight wins in nine games. Posted the third highest passer rating in the history of the NFL. Let’s not forget the seven touchdown game either.

McCoy is nominated for Best NFL Player award. He became the first Eagles player to lead the NFL in rushing and yards from the line of scrimmage since Hall of Fame quarterback Seven Van Buren in 1947. He rushed for an NFL leading 1,607 yards on the ground and 539 receiving yards.

Let’s put these guys in the record books.
