Predicting The Entire NFL Season: Week 16 (Eagles @ Redskins)

Just two weeks to go and the Philadelphia Eagles are in a fight for the NFC East. Again. And much like last year, it’s probably going to come down to the final week of the season. The big question is whether the loser of that Week 17 game will still make the playoffs.

But that’s for next week. For now, let’s focus on where things stand heading into Week 16.

The AFC spots are locked up and teams are sorting out the order. We know the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos will win divisions, and the Baltimore Ravens will be a wild card. The AFC East will go to either the Buffalo Bills or New England Patriots, with the loser taking the other wild card spot. The byes? We’ll need another couple weeks to sort that out.

The NFC? That’s a mess. Maybe Week 16 will help.

Titans @ Jaguars: This is your Thursday night game. No. One. Cares. Jacksonville 17, Tennessee 13

Chargers @ 49ers: San Francisco inches closer to a wild card spot. San Francisco 27, San Diego 13

Vikings @ Dolphins: Another lousy game. I’ll go with the Vikings for no particular reason. Minnesota 18, Miami 15

Ravens @ Texans: Baltimore wins one more game before taking a “bye” next week. Baltimore 30, Houston 22

Lions @ Bears: Chicago is making a charge towards the playoffs. The Lions are fading fast. Chicago 23, Detroit 16

Browns @ Panthers: Carolina really, really needs this game. They get it. Carolina 31, Cleveland 6

Falcons @ Saints: How about this for a twist? Atlanta 24, New Orleans 23

Packers @ Buccaneers: Green Bay gets a weak opponent at the right time. Green Bay 34, Tampa Bay 20

Chiefs @ Steelers: Andy Reid might figure out a way to get to .500 and keep hope alive in Kansas City that things will be better in 2015. Kansas City 26, Pittsburgh 17

Patriots @ Jets: New England stays in the AFC East hunt. New England 29, New York Jets 21

Giants @ Rams: It all comes down to Week 17 again. New York Giants 28, St. Louis 21

Bills @ Raiders: Upset special, making Week 17 a lot of fun (Bills and Pats will meet). Oakland 22, Buffalo 21

Colts @ Cowboys: Poor, poor Jerry Jones. Indianapolis 35, Dallas 31

Seahawks @ Cardinals: Critical game for both teams. Seattle wraps up the NFC West. Seattle 27, Arizona 20

Broncos @ Bengals: Great Monday Night game with a first-round bye on the line. Denver keeps it interesting. Denver 32, Cincinnati 28

And, finally…

Eagles @ Redskins: This won’t be a great game for DeSean Jackson. This will be a great game for LeSean McCoy. Philadelphia 38, Washington 20
