LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles’ mild-mannered running back is stirring the pot early this year. He sent a warning shot to the Dallas Cowboys Thursday. While walking off the field Thursday he was overheard telling some fans he owned Dallas.
LeSean McCoy walking over to do interview with Michael Irvin, turned back to some fans and said, "I own Dallas."

In a sense, he is right. He rang up 131 yards against them in the last game of the season. However, he only rushed for 55 yards the first time they met. In 2012 he ran for 82 yards and didn’t play the second game.
In 2011 he ran for a mind-blowing 185 yards and two touchdowns in week 8. Then two months later he “crawled” for a total of 35 yards. It’s almost like a tale of two running backs.
He only played one game against Dallas in 2010 and sprinted for a nice 149 yards in week 14. And his rookie year he played one game and ran for 58 yards.
Against Dallas, he ran for 695 yards, scored 2 touchdowns. He also had 24 receptions for 144 yards and scored 1 touchdown. The win/loss record during the games he played is 4-4.
Statistically, LeSean McCoy doesn’t own them full time. He just vacations there from time to time. Let’s hope this year he breaks his off and on trend. Maybe that quote was a prediction of the upcoming season.
