And Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator continues to be impressed with his performance.
Shurmur: Jordan Matthews has done a good job. Every little hurdle we've given him, he's jumped over.

There’s no question that Jordan Matthews has thoroughly impressed just about everyone in training camp. Shurmur keeps heaping praise on him. He continues shine at camp. But to put this in a proper perspective, keep in mind he is accomplishing these great feats at, 1) training camp and 2) most of his play time is against the second team defense. And a third to consider is he may see limited play time barring any serious injury against any first string receiver.
Not trying to dash anyone’s hopes out there but the expectations need to be realistic. Sure, Eagles fans are hungry for a Superbowl championship. But one step at a time. We don’t want to set ourselves up for a huge letdown this season in case we don’t achieve the ultimate goal.
