Philadelphia Eagles Jeremy Maclin Holding His Own

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin spent yesterday battling against one of the league’s greatest cornerbacks in the game. He was shadowed by New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis who was acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the offseason.

He (Revis) was on my side the whole time and we had some pretty good battles today. It was pretty fun. I got deep on him that time, a post route. It’s the NFL and I feel I can go against anybody.

This is the second year the Eagles had joint practices with the Patriots. This season should prove especially beneficial as it will give the Eagles’ defense time to work against one of the leagues top quarterbacks, Tom Brady.

Revis is known for his voracity on the field and has the reputation of being one of the league’s best cornerbacks in the game. The Eagles own Jeremy Maclin beat Revis for a touchdown during drills yesterday. Maclin was looking good and the day was good for his confidence.

Should be an exciting preseason contest Friday. Be sure to keep your eye on Maclin, would be good to see him beat Revis on TV. Another good sign for the Eagles offense, the Mac can beat Revis.
