Philadelphia Eagles Curtis Marsh Gets Hammered on Twitter

Not a good night to be Eagles cornerback Curtis Marsh

For the lucky few that watched the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots last night got to see a little more of the Eagles defense. It wasn’t pretty. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady looked sharp. Their offense ran roughshod through the Eagles defense.

Unfortunately, one member of the the Eagles defense looked particularly bad. Marsh looked completely outmatched and out of place. Twitter was rife with deriding remarks about him.

Some were pretty funny.

And this one gave me a chuckle.

But my favorite of the night is this little gem.

For the fans most preseason games aren’t very enjoyable after the first quarter. They truly are for the fringe players to step up and make the team. Last night Marsh did not do himself any favors. Unless he has a 180 turn around next week it’s hard to think he’ll make the cut this season.
