After all the cuts have been made, the Philadelphia Eagles have their 53 man roster set for the beginning of the 2014 season. As the depth chart is filled out, there are still players fighting for playing time going into the first week of the season. One of the biggest question marks that remains is who will be returning punts and kicks on a regular basis.
As of right now, the Philadelphia Eagles have up to seven players that could see action in the return game. After letting wide receiver DeSean Jackson go this off season, the team needs to not only find a player to replace his offensive production, but also his explosive threat on punt returns. Opponents feared kicking the ball directly to him or giving Jackson a chance to even get his hands on the ball as a returner. Philadelphia Eagles head coach will have a trial-by-fire approach for the start of the season to find a regular kick and punt returner.
