Another preseason is in the books.  After some scrutinizing numerous players–both veterans and rookies alike–the teams have set their 53-man rosters for the regular season.  The Eagles released their 53-man roster last Saturday. I’m going to take a shot at grading the Eagles’ 53-man roster, position-by-position.

Quarterback: Nick Foles, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley

This is a group that was set almost from day 1.  Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Nick Foles returns after a huge season in which he threw 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions.  The big question here was whether Eagles backup quarterback Mark Sanchez would be able to recover after a few brutal years in New York and a shoulder injury that sidelined him all of last season.  He certainly did recover and looks like arguably the best backup quarterback in the league.

Grade: A
