Now that the free agency frenzy is over, it’s time for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans to shift their focus to the 2015 NFL Draft. It seems as though the team will have some holes on their roster heading into the event, which is never an ideal situation. Although it would be best to be able to draft the best player available with each pick, that may not be the case for head coach Chip Kelly this year.

This year’s draft will be the first time in his short NFL coaching career that Kelly will have final say on who the Eagles will select with each pick. That’s a big deal and will be a chance for the coach to be able to take “his guys”. If you thought there was a strong case of “Duck bias” before, you are in for something else now.

In all seriousness, the upcoming draft will play a big part in whether the Eagles will be successful in 2015 or not. They have plenty of holes to fill on their roster following free agency including wide receiver, safety and offensive guard. So possibly drafting multiple starters would really help both next season and in the future. Since this is an Eagles’ only mock draft, I used CBS Sports prospect rankings to try and get a feel of fair rankings and where to project each prospect’s potential draft range. That being said, let’s get down to business!
