These five players could all potentially be selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the team’s No. 14 overall draft pick.

The Philadelphia Eagles could go a number of routes with their first-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Eagles’ secondary was the worst in the NFL last season and it’s almost guaranteed that the team will look to use a high draft pick on a cornerback.

They could also opt to draft a workhorse running back instead. It’s unlikely Ryan Mathews will be back with the Eagles in 2017 and second-year player Wendell Smallwood doesn’t seem capable of carrying the load.

And let’s not forget about their issues at wideout. Despite signing Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith in free agency, neither receiver is guaranteed to be back in Philadelphia beyond the 2017 season. It isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility that they draft a receiver, either.

With the No. 14 overall pick in the draft, the Eagles will surely have a wide variety of talented prospects worthy of their first-round selection. But these are the players the Eagles should really be keeping their eyes on.
