There’s no one better to discuss the former Patriots, Chris Long and LeGarrette Blount, with than a man who covers that team daily.

We at Inside The Iggles share the pain of every Philadelphia Eagles fan. If one more member of this team leaves and experiences more success in another uniform, we’re going to pull our hair out. For one team in particular, it’s become a theme that’s all too common.

The New England Patriots, a season ago, won yet another Super Bowl. Perhaps, the most disheartening thing about the whole process was watching them do it with former Eagles playing key roles. Danny Amendola, Dion Lewis and Eric Rowe all wear the title of being former Eagles that will go down in the annals of NFL history as Super Bowl champions. It makes some Eagles fans wonder what could have been.

Defensive end Chris Long and running back LeGarrette Blount have both been added from the Patriots’ roster, and though no one expects the Eagles to make a run at a title this year, seeing guys added with championship experience is encouraging.

We enlisted Musket Fires own Nick Ziegler, a man who covers this team daily, for some insight. The results were as follows.
