Dexter Is Killer

AUTHOR: | IN: Draft, Eagles, NFL, Random Thoughts, Video | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

If you’ve been following Andy Reid drafts over the years, you know he loves gimmicky players. Small, shifty guys who can operate in space and cause matchup nightmares. Initially, Brian Westbrook was drafted to be a change of pace back, not the superstar workhorse he ended up becoming. Ryan Moats and Lorenzo Booker were failed experiments, but that doesn’t mean Reid will suddenly shy away from plucking another toy from the ranks. One of the more dynamic and enticing players available this year is Mississippi running back/wide receiver Dexter McCluster.

DeSean Jackson Hits the Battlefield

AUTHOR: | IN: Eagles, Entertainment, Offseason, Video | COMMENTS: None Yet

NFL players today love their video games. So much so that they are entering themselves in tournaments across the land. The Eagles own DeSean Jackson was in L.A. last week to participate in the Battlefield Bracket Challenge Presented by GameStop. He, along with other athletes and celebs such as Chad Ochocinco and the lovely Stacy Keibler, went head-to-head playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which I presume has something to do with shooting bad guys with guns. You can go to GameStop.com/BattlefieldBC2 to vote for DJax and also enter for a chance to win some nice swag, including $10,000 in cold, [...]

The Play That Defined Brian Westbrook

AUTHOR: | IN: Eagles, NFL, Offseason, Video | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Brian Westbrook was many things during his days as an Eagle: explosive runner, dynamic receiver, one-man highlight reel, go-to weapon and team leader are just a few of the hats that he willingly wore. You hear terms like “team player” thrown around a lot, but those two words best describe Westbrook. He always did what was asked of him even when he didn’t agree. It’s not ideal being the main runner in an [...]
