Before the on-field workouts start on Saturday, here is my 1st, 2013, 1st round, NFL mock draft.

Kansas City Chiefs: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M.

When a team has the 1st pick in the draft, that franchise has to choose the best player available, no matter the position. Joeckel is the best player available in the draft and will help who ever the Chiefs bring into play QB.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Jarvis Jones, OLB, UGA.

Jarvis Jones is the best outside linebacker in the draft and will instantly upgrade the Jaguars defense. Jones is a leader on and off the field and has the ability to rush to passer and drop back in coverage.

Oakland Raiders: Star Loutelelei, DT, Utah

Loutelelei is a huge man and a very good football player. With the likely departure of Richard Seymour, the Raiders will need to replace him on their defensive line and Loutelelei best player available to do so.

Philadelphia Eagles: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama

Milliner is coming from the best division in college football and is coming from the best team in college football. The Eagles need new, talented bodies to help reboot their secondary. With the likely departure of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha’s future in Philly up in the air, the Eagle will need someone to cover receivers. Milliner will be a great player to restart the secondary with.

Detroit Lions: Demontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M

Moore is the best DE in the draft and he has the ability to play OLB in a 3-4 scheme. With the departure of Vanden Bosch, Moore can fill out the Lions offensive line and his natural ability will restore the Lions defensive line to one of the best in football.

Cleveland Browns: Barkevious Mingo, DE, LSU

Arizona Cardinals: Geno Smith, QB, WVU

Buffalo Bills: Bjoern Werner, DE, FSU

New York Jets: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee

Tennessee Titans: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

San Diego Chargers: Eric Fisher

Miami Dolphins: Keenan Allen, WR, Cal

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma

Carolina Panthers: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

New Orleans Saints: Dion Jordan, OLB, Oregon

St. Louis Rams: Kenny Vaccaro

Pittsburgh Steelers: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas St.

Dallas Cowboys: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina

New York Giants: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU

Chicago Bears: DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama

Cincinnati Bengals: Manti Te’o, ILB, Notre Dame

St. Louis Rams: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

Minnesota Vikings: Xavier Rhodes, CB, FSU

Indianapolis Colts: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri

Seattle Seahawks: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU

Green Bay Packers: Travis Frederick, C, Wisconsin

Houston Texans: Tavon Austin, WR, WVU

Denver Broncos: John Jenkins, DT, UGA

New England Patriots: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama

Atlanta Falcons: Tyler Eifert , TE, Notre Dame

San Francisco 49ers: Jonathan Banks, CB, Mississippi

Baltimore Ravens: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
