Wide receiver is widely considered to be Philadelphia’s strongest position, with DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant returning as the top three. There’s no doubt that trio will provide plenty of options to quarterback Kevin Kolb, but the Eagles get even deeper at wideout.

Eagles Come Up Big In The Clutch
The Eagles left San Fransisco victorious, in what was a very big game against the 49ers. After digging themselves into a small hole, The Eagles needed a win to stay in the NFC East race. Down 9 points in the 4th quarter, the team suddenly felt the urgency of the situation, and rose up to the occasion. They were able to score 23 points in the final quarter, for a nice win before the bye week.

The Eagles Cowboys game last night was one of the entertaining games I have ever witnessed. In this crazy battle there were 78 total points scored, 7 lead changes, a fumble recovered for a TD, a 51 yard field goal, a kick return for a touchdown, a touchdown tossed away by a rookie WR, a 72 yard bomb for a touchdown, lots of controversial calls, and enough drama to keep you on the edge of your seat all game long.
Looking at this game from an Eagles fans perspective, I can’t help but feel the game was there for the taking. [...]

Eagles vs Rams Highlights
The dreaded Sports Hernia has reared it’s ugly head again to the Eagles. Donovan McNabb, Sheldon Brown, and L.J. Smith have all suffered this injury, and now it has hit WR Kevin Curtis. Curtis got injured sometime during last weeks pre season game against the Carolina Panthers.
He is expected to undergo surgery to repair the injury tomorrow morning, and should be out of action for a while. Andy Reid would not give a specific time table for his return, but typically this injury keeps players out of action 3-6 weeks. The regular season starts in two and a half weeks, [...]
An Electrifying Night: I can’t remember the last time an Eagles game was delayed due to lightning. I guess it is more likely to happen in August then during the regular season. The delay seemed to really hurt the Eagles. Before the rain, the Eagles were moving the ball pretty well, but were unable to score. After the break they looked to be in a funk. McNabb was suddenly making mistakes, WRs were dropping passes, and the offense was unable to do much overall.
