3) With the return of Clay Matthews do you think he will be ready? It is reported he will play with a club on his hand. How effective at tackling do you think he will be? Do you predict he will be able to play the whole game?

DD: Yes, I think Matthews will be ready. He’s a competitor. He goes 100 percent every week. But I understand your question. I’m not sure we’ll see the same Clay Matthews we’re accustomed to seeing when he’s healthy. The ability for a pass rusher to use both of his hands to throw off blockers and get to the quarterback can’t go understated. Matthews will be limited in some fashion. I also expect the coaches to closely monitor his rep count, considering he’s returning from a pretty significant injury. I don’t think he’ll play the whole game. Having said that, I’d take a one-handed Clay Matthews any day. It’s better than not having him on the field all together. Opposing teams still have to account for him, even if he’s restricted.
