The Philadelphia Eagles seemed to be on the road to playoff destiny. The stars appear to be aligning just right for a team that was 4-12 last season. And maybe the biggest star of them all is new Eagles’ head coach Chip Kelly and the change of mentality he has brought to this formerly downtrodden team. As proof of this postseason prediction, I present ten reasons why I think the Eagles will win the NFC East this season, and hence make it into the playoffs.

It is unclear whether or not Peterson will play on Sunday at the Metrodome as the Eagles face the Minnesota Vikings. This makes it an almost guaranteed win for the Birds and most likely their chance to take a two game lead on the trailing Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
