Round One, Picks 17-32

17. Dallas Cowboys
Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix
Safety, Alabama

18. New York Jets
Marqise Lee
Wide Receiver, Southern California

19. Miami Dolphins
Eric Ebron
Tight End, North Carolina

20. Arizona Cardinals
Taylor Lewan
Offensive Tackle, Michigan

21. Green Bay Packers
Louis Nix III
Defensive Tackle, Notre Dame

22. Philadelphia Eagles
Kony Ealy
Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Missouri

Kony Ealy, a 6’5 275-pound freight train from Missouri, fills the team’s desire for a tall, athletic outside linebacker that head coach Chip Kelly has had since he failed to acquire his former Oregon standout pass rusher Dion Jordan in the 2013 NFL Draft. He’s the perfect hybrid player for Chip Kelly’s defense, being able to stand up at linebacker or put his hand in the dirt on passing downs as a defensive end. Ealy did primarily play defensive end at Missouri in a 4-3 defense so this pick is not without it’s risk, but Chip Kelly has proven that he knows how to get the most out of his players regardless of where they line up.

23. Kansas City Chiefs
Justin Gilbert
Cornerback, Oklahoma State

24. Cincinnati Bengals
Calvin Pryor
Safety, Louisville

25. San Diego Chargers
Jace Amaro
