Round Three, Picks 17-32

17. Miami Dolphins
Ka’Deem Carey
Running Back, Arizona

18. Chicago Bears
Weston Richburg
Center, Colorado State

19. Cleveland Browns (from Pittsburgh)
Jared Abbrederis
Wide Receiver, Wisconsin

20. Arizona Cardinals
Michael Sam
Outside Linebacker, Missouri

21. Green Bay Packers
Josh Mauro
Defensive End, Stanford

22. Philadelphia Eagles
Pierre Desir
Cornerback, Lindenwood

The Eagles would have likely preferred to have been in position to draft 6’2, 215-pound Stanley Jean-Baptiste here, but he was gone by the time they were on the clock in the second round (thanks, Seahawks, for solidifying the tall cornerback trend). Pierre Desir (6’1, 195) finished off a great week at the Senior Bowl and furthered his case as a top-100 pick. He’s fast and fluid, does a nice job reading the quarterback, and isn’t afraid to make a play on the ball when warranted. With that said, if the Eagles truly want to address their secondary woes, Desir won’t be the only cornerback they add this offseason.

23. San Francisco 49ers (from Kansas City)
Jackson Jeffcoat
Defensive End/Linebacker, Texas

24. Cincinnati Bengals
Demarcus Lawrence
Outside Linebacker, Boise State

25. San Diego Chargers

26. Indianapolis Colts
Jeremy Hill
Running Back, LSU

27. New Orleans Saints
Chris Borland
Inside Linebacker, Wisconsin

Brandon Coleman
Wide Receiver, Rutgers

30. San Francisco 49ers
